(2018)  The homestead has been in the family since the early 1900's.  Today, the newest generation of Williamsons (a really fun bunch) are still producing quality fruit and delicious wine from Williamson Vineyards in Caldwell.

Then, we're off on a field trip to Hawaii's Big Island.  Up among the lava rocks left behind by Mount Kilauea, you'll find the very unique Volcano Winery.  Not only are they producing Pinot Noir and fine mead, but they're into tea leaves as well.  It's a great place to visit when Northwesterners take a trip to the islands!

(2017) Wine made in the Pacific Northwest has actually been inspired by many other parts of the globe.  Case in point, young winemaker Andrew Januik of Andrew Januik Wines just got back from another harvest in South America, and he shares with us how that experience will be evident in future bottles of his wine.

We also talk about the trouble some California winemakers had this past harvest because it got so hot down south over the summer.  Plus, we meet the guys at Summit To Sound Brewing out of Snohomish.  It's another amazing story of how being in the right place, at the right time, can yield some really good beer!

(2017)  There's some new activity brewing near the site of the old Olympia brewery, and it's goal is to make Tumwater a brewing and distilling destination.  Our friend Justin Stiefel and his Heritage Distilling Company will be among the first tenants of the new Tumwater Craft District.

Speaking of brewing, we take a trip to Newport, Oregon to visit the Rogue Ales & Spirits World Headquarters to talk with brewing legend John Maier.  We also get to meet winemaker Jason Gorski of Delille Cellars, and find out more about taking the reigns of one of Washington's original wineries.
